영화 : 스타워즈 프리퀄 3부작 (1999) 오프닝

스타워즈 프리퀄 삼부작은 스카이워커 사가의 두 번째 시리즈인 에피소드 1 보이지 않는 위험, 에피소드 2 클론의 습격, 에피소드 3 시스의 복수 3개의 영화들을 말한다.

제1차 은하 내전을 다루었던 스타워즈 오리지널 삼부작의 과거 이야기를 다루고 있으며, 이 삼부작에서 중심이 되는 사건은 클론전쟁이다. 에피소드 1은 클론 전쟁을 직접적으로 다루지는 않고, 그 발단과 기원이 되는 사건을 다루는 모습도 보인다.

오리지널 삼부작은 각 작품의 감독이 조지 루카스, 어빈 커슈너, 리처드 마퀸드로 모두 다른데 반해 프리퀄 삼부작은 시리즈 전체를 조지 루카스가 감독했다.

공화국 의회에서 이 심상치 않은 일련의 사건이 논의되는 동안 은하 의회의 발로럼 최고 의장은 비밀리에 은하계의 평화와 정의를 수호하는 제다이 기사 두 명을, 분쟁 해결을 위해 급파하는데....
